A year without summer

Five young English men and women, around the age of 20. Among them, Lord Byron, Percy Shelley and his future wife Mary Wollstonecraft Godwin.

Aristocrats with no money, children of the revolution, they lead a Bohemian life and wander across Europe like runaways.

On a stormy night in 1816, in a villa overlooking Lake Geneva, they are to reinvent popular culture, giving birth to two monsters that have become the stuff of modern day myths: Frankenstein and Vampyre.
